This range is inspired by the Italian card game Scopa which is played in the Mercuri household after lunch on special occasions. Three generations sit around the dining table coveting the most valued card Settebello or 'The Beautiful 7'.

2015 Settebello Spade Riesling
Our 2015 Riesling is crafted from fruit grown on elevated sites at Watervale where rich red loam overlays deep limestone.
This delicate wine shows lifted floral aromas with a rich palate of refreshing lemon and lime followed by crisp acid on the finish.

Our 2015 Pinot Grigio comes from premium cool climate vineyards in the Adelaide Hills.
With textural layers of nashi pear, white stone fruit and a hint of citrus this light, crisp wine has a tang of crunchy acid at the finish.

2013 Settebello Bastoni Cabernet Sauvignon
Creating using traditional wine making techniques of open fermentation and cold soaking, this classic Cabernet Sauvignon has spent 21 months maturing in French oak hogsheads.
With flavours of blackcurrant, dark chocolate and a touch of sweet vanilla, the palate is smooth with well integrated oak and finishes with long, lingering tannins.

2016 Settebello Coppe Shiraz
Traditional wine making techniques of open fermentation and cold soaking have been used to create this full bodied wine.
After 21 months maturation in French oak, the palate shows complex layers of stewed plums and blackberry with a touch of spice.
It finishes with well integrated oak and velvety tannins.
